Valentine day is considered as one of the most romantic days of the year but in fact you can increase or decrease the romance level of the day with your activities. Everyone spends this day like an obligation instead of adding some more romance in it. People purchase some flowers and chocolates for their sweethearts and that’s it. If you also do the same then instead of celebrating this day you are taken it as your duty to give cards and roses to your sweetheart. This old routine can also disappoint your beloved therefore you have to plan something different. You have to do something new instead of following crowed and shopping old heart shaped balloons, chocolates and flowers. Today I will discuss some unique ways to celebrate valentine day:

Do Not Wait for 14^th February

Do not wait for 14^th February to wish your love lady. Try to set the romantic mood from the 1^st February and make all 14 days special. On the 1^st night you can arrange a candle light dinner. Put only one candle on the table on 1^st February and add one candle each night until the Valentine’s Day. On last day arrange all fourteen candles in heart shape and enjoy romantic candle light dinner.

Cook Something Special

Do not reserve a table in hotel as it is old technique. You can prepare a special dish for your beloved because it will be a great surprise for her. It can be fun to prepare a new dish daily for fourteen days for your honey.

Arrange Some Music

Cue some favorite songs of your honey and play them while dinner. You can also dance with her on these songs. From 1^st February to 14^th February, send a romantic and favorite song to your love lady through email or SMS. It is much better to burn your song on a CD and silently keep it in her favorite songs collection for surprise.

Express Your Love Feelings

Sending cards is very old and customary way so it is better to adopt different way to express your feelings. You can prepare a picture collage, for example, collect some special pictures and arrange them either in heart shape or something else as you want. Write your lovely message below each picture. You can also create heart shaped cookies or cake and write your message on it with icing.

Write Down Qualities of Your Spouse

You can also prepare a note with lovely habits of your wife or husband. Daily write five qualities in it and on the 14^th February present it to your hubby. It will be a great surprise for him or her.

Buy a Unique Valentine Day Gift

Cards, roses, chocolates, perfume, wine etc. all are old options. Now buy something new and romantic. Think about the hobbies of your beloved, for example if he or she is fond of reading then a great book according to his or her taste can be a great gift.

There are no hard and fast rules for the celebrations of Valentine’s Day. Your simple and lovely ideas can make this day more special for your loved one. Before planning anything consider the likes and dislikes of your partner and then make these fourteen days memorable experience of your life.
