As the demand is rising, field of chemistry is expanding continuously. That means, career in this field are also evolving with passage of time. There are many options for chemist jobs and requirements since there is huge variation in the nature of job. Academic Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in chemistry can help you getting entry level job. There are certain valuable jobs with attractive packages but such jobs require either research work or a Masters Degree in chemistry. It is also a fact that every state imposes different academic requirements for different posts in career as a chemist.
Relevant Coursework
Undergraduate students can find career opportunities in the field of chemistry through passing relevant training courses in critical areas like organic chemistry, cosmetic chemistry, and biological sciences. Remember that to get more advanced position in chemist career; you will need to focus on the type of chemistry they wish to pursue. For example a candidate studying to become an analytical chemist may take courses in computer programs, chemistry, business management etc.
